Lore Cuypers is a researcher and lecturer at Howest University of Applied Sciences. Since 2018, she is coördinator of the research centre Vital Cities, which focuses on socio-spatial research exploring how the physical and social environment influences people’s behaviour, specifically in the context of the use of public spaces for sport, exercice, play and social interaction.  

In practice, she collaborates with various cities and municipalities, deploying her expertise in data-informed policy making, active design, behavioral change and social innovation through sport.
